How do I register as an organisation?

To apply for an organisation account, click on the ‘Organisation’ link on the left-hand side of the website (fig. 3.1).

On the next page, click on the 'Create an organisation account link (fig. 3.2) or scroll down to the account registration fields (fig. 3.3). Fill in the form where account information is requested. Wherever you see a red asterisk, the information is required.

Here you can enter your full name, the name of your organization, your username for the site, your email address, and a password for your Shine account. Your password should contain a mixture of letters and numbers, but no other characters.

Next there is a checkbox under the ‘Arts Council England’ heading. Tick this box if you do not want to be informed about other Arts Council England initiatives. Beneath the ‘How did you hear about Shine?’ heading you can select from the checkboxes and type into the text fields how you found out about Shine.

The next required information is ‘Your full name’, first name and surname, so that you can be easily identified.

Read the Terms & Conditions and check the box saying you ‘Accept the terms & conditions of use’ and press the ‘Create new account’ button (fig. 3.4).

Your account will not be immediately active, but will be awaiting approval by the site administrator. In the meantime, your password and further instructions will be sent to your email address. When validation is granted you will be sent a confirmation email, after which you can log in to the Shine website.
