Beetles are such lovely creatures
Beetles are so great
Nice and black
Shiny and all that
Always are awake

The school sits
The school stares,
Silence

The school creaks,
The school groans,
Silence

The school whispers,
Doors open,
Madness!

I Am A Road

I am grey,
I am hard,
I am rough.

I am bleak
I am meek,
I am stone.

Cars broom on me,
Children run on me,
I don't mind.

Every year I gain a pothole,
Never do I cry,
Always watching,
Always waiting,
Always do I lie!
