Y2 visited Bamburgh to see Grace Darling's birth place and the museum. They wrote a play script about the famous rescue and acted it out for school and parents.

During Shine Week Clacton County High School staged their first original musical ‘Sounds Like Teen Spirit’ which was written by CCHS Drama teachers, Sarah Cooper and Anna Wade. Set in a faded seaside resort in 1995, the story follows the events of the end of year prom, where relationships break down and new relationships form. After the tragic events of the prom night the musical follows the lives of the students as they leave school and enter the big wide world.

Tiger Monkey is working with students at Lea Valley ESC towards Bronze and Silver Arts Awards as part of a three year Arts Council funded programme X-cluded Stories. 'Broken Home' is based on an idea and lyrics by the young people and they are making the story come to life via moving image and music.

Tiger Monkey UK Ltd has been working with Turning Point at Burnt Oak Leisure Centre with young people to devise and create their own original story - 'Second Chance ' using drama, creative writing, music and film towards their Bronze Arts Award. Thestory focuses around Tony who is a promising footballer but is peer presured into joining a gang with dire consequences....Young people have been creating their own beats and lyrics with Tiger Monkey artist Robin Coombes and bringing their story to life via acting and film-making with director Emma Ghafur and actor Darren Carr.

Y3E working with playwright Richard Hurdford. The children's favourite book was the The Adventures of Captain Underpants. We use this as a starting point for our drama work on Superheroes and evil villains. The children have now started writing their own plays.
