Who? - Emma Thompson 7Y

Who?
By Emma Thompson 7Y

I am a mysterious creature,
Silent but as dark as night.
I creep around the empty street
Dodging the bright lights,
For I am not used to them.
I can feel the breeze
Swishing past my scruffy fur.
I can feel it lifting me up
As I jump through the air.
No one’s staring
or making a move to get me for I am wanted.
Now as I end my little stroll,
Passing the dark tangled trees,
I am still wanted, still unknown and never will be seen.

Art - Heather Johnson 7Y

Art
By Heather Johnson 7Y

Paint and paper, card and string
Isn’t art a wonderful thing?
Mount your easel, find your brush,
Don’t you hurry, don’t you rush.
You could paint an island or king,
You could draw some wondrous things.
It is easy; don’t grab your brush,
Don’t you worry, don’t you rush.
Let go of your brain and let your thoughts bring
A Wonderful Thing!

Miss Critchley - Grace Collins 7Y

Miss Critchley
By Grace Collins – 7Y

Please Miss Critchley
As clever as clever,
We’ll never find one
That’s any better.

Oh silly boy,
Oh what have you done?
Oh really, really,
This ain’t no fun.

Daniel get down;
And Heather, please no!
Silly children,
Why don’t you know?

Every time you do this
Miss Critchley gets mean;
Smoke puffs from her ears
And she starts to go green.

Oh no, oh no, it has begun;
All of you,
Look,
Look what you’ve done!

Smoke flies to the ceiling,
Then drops to the floor.
As black as night sky
You can’t see any more.

The Night is Dark - Megan Scully 7Y

The Night is Dark…
By Megan Scully 7Y

The night is dark
And moon has shone above the black cave,
Releasing the monster that sleeps beneath its many dark secrets.
It howls in hunger,
Plotting its plan to eat and feed upon an innocent creature;
Preying for mercy, begging to be released
But it’s hungry and won’t listen to the innocent cries.
Not caring for the suffering,
It races down the dark hill,
Howling and growling harder than ever.
Making the children and adults hide in their houses
And fear what has always been feared.
They can’t escape.
They’re doomed.

RAP - By Matthew Smiles 7Y

RAP
By Matthew Smiles – 7Y

Yo Yo Yo I got a rap,
For every country on the map.
Is giving out too much CO2,
Which will stop all the cows going moo?
Because of the pollution,
There could be no solution.
So don’t take your car,
If you’re not going far,
If you do this you can be cool,
Like having a great big pool.
All the plants are dyin’,
And all the birds have stopped flyin’.
So think; before you sit in the car,
Only get in if you’re going far.
