'In Penny Lane there is a fireman with an hourglass, and in his pocket is a portrait of the queen, he likes to keep his fire engine clean, it's a clean machine!'
In Year 4 the children have done quite a bit in Shine Week, for a start, they did portraits of the Queen. Hockney style. They then went to the fire station to help clean the fire engine ( it's now a clean machine!) after all of that they did hourglass maths, estimating how much time it would take to do a certain activity then measured the results with an hourglass.
